Detective Michael Bennett is back with his ten adopted children and grandfather Seamus. Bennett is challenged with a copycat killer who is not an amateur, but very detailed. There is also a love interest with the children's nanny, Mary Catherine and also with FBI agent Emily Parker.
Bennett is badly beaten defending his son.
