I , Sniper by Stephen Hunter

This is "The Fiction Book" for anyone military or who loves guns. I , Sniper provides a close look at the dynamics of shooting, the sniper culture and tradecraft. It echos the Vietnam war and the radical 60's. The book emphasis the courage and honor of Marine snipers. I am in awe of the skill set of these superb operations professionals. In the novel, Bob Lee Swagger is a legendary marksman and hunter. Our freedom and our lifestyle are ensured by men like Bob Lee Swagger
The book reflects honor and Marines taking care of their own. Semper Fi.

The Last Ember by Daniel Levin

Excellent!!! Superb!!! Wow!!!
I forgot to eat. I forgot everything except this book!!!
The Last Ember is a quest for the greatest treasure of the ancient world, the Jewish menorah of Herod's temple. Ancient espionage is evident when a Jewish spy from Jerusalem is planted in the Roman court. In present day,Israel's Antiquities Authority is trying to prevent illicit excavations and illegal trafficking of ancient artifacts.
Daniel Levin is a new author and is very good. Last Ember is engrossing and a must read!!!!

Pairs Vendetta by Steve Berry

Steve Berry is one of my favorite authors. This book is interesting and very thought provoking. At first, Paris Vendetta is about Napoleon's lost treasure of stolen art and antiquities. It also concerns the Paris Club which secretly wrecks havoc with the world's financial systems. Economics is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. The book reveals a financial conspiracy and expert financial manipulations that devalue currencies. Who benefits from the power of money???

The First Rule by Robert Crais

WOW!!! Astonishing!!!
The First Rule is the thieves code for organized criminal gangs of the former Soviet Union. There is a tangle of ancient grudges, vengeance and blood ties.
Joe pike and Elvis Cole take care of their own and are plunged into a terrible world. I could not stop reading. Fast paced and a great read!!!
