Brad Thor is one of my favorite authors. His novels are intense and authentic political thrillers.
The Apostle emphasizes the difference between Afghanistan natives and the Taliban and al-Qaeda. It highlights covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath's mission to rescue American doctor Julia Gallo who is kidnapped in Afghanistan. The book also includes an investigation by a Secret Service agent which may involve the newly elected president.
The Apostle is riveting and a must- read for our times!!!
