Mounting Fears by Stuart Woods

Mounting Fears is an appropriate title for the sharp intrigue of several overwhelming events that can threaten the president's reelection. President Lee is dealing with a nuclear event in Pakistan , a Vice President sex scandal , murder at the Panama Canal , a writer for a supermarket tabloid , and withholding information from the public A former CIA agent , Teddy Fay , is assassinating outspoken opponents of the President. The President's wife is the director of the CIA. The FBI and the CIA act to protect the President. The CIA denies the existence of Teddy Fay , but new CIA agent , Todd Bacon, pursues and prevents an assassination. Teddy Fay escapes setting up a possible future meeting between the two.
