Jericho's Fall by Stephen L. Carter

Jericho is the retired Director of Central Intelligence and Secretary of Defense and White House National Security Advisor and a Wall Street titan at a private equity firm.
A intense plot builds layer upon layer. Jericho is a master at the "wisp" (false trail.)
A trusted lover from Jericho's past is drawn into a hunt for an explosive secret that intelligence operatives and financial wizards are also in a race to find. When Jericho does fall, the secret will keep his family and lover safe and reveal many illegal acts in the past.
I read Jericho's Fall in one sitting. I want to read more of Stephen L. Carter!!!
What is fact??? What is a "wisp" ????

Jeff Abbott is a local author and one of my favorite authors. Trust Me has shocking twists and keeps you guessing. A page-turner! This book is GOOD!
Luke Dantry is a psychologist who profiles terrorists and extremists. Luke is the unlikely pawn between two think tanks. The novel is about the power of the world wide internet and a war fought in secret that is not handcuffed by law. Where is the 50 million intended for domestic terrorism? Can predictions in a think tank's policy papers be reality??

The Apostle by Brad Thor

Apostle is the term for American warriors who passionately and tirelessly fight our nation's war on terror so America may remain free.
Brad Thor is one of my favorite authors. His novels are intense and authentic political thrillers.
The Apostle emphasizes the difference between Afghanistan natives and the Taliban and al-Qaeda. It highlights covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath's mission to rescue American doctor Julia Gallo who is kidnapped in Afghanistan. The book also includes an investigation by a Secret Service agent which may involve the newly elected president.
The Apostle is riveting and a must- read for our times!!!
