Agent X by Noah Boyd
Intricate!
5 Whys ?
Five-star Suspense!
Noah Boyd is my FAVORITE new author. He's only written two books so far and they are both superb!!! Steve Vail, the main character, is an outsider, a bricklayer , a former FBI agent, and a sculptor. Vail is great at noticing anomalies and resolving complex puzzles. Proper channels slow him down and he likes to conduct an investigation his own way. Clues are more complicated as the case progresses and the answers are better protected if they're surrounded by confusion.
There's one more why!!!
Steve Vail will be the next great movie hero!!!
